Why Loose Leaf Tea?

 

While tea bags can be a convenient and quick option to drink tea, most are made with plastic and nylon-based fibers, contributing to our world's massive waste problem. On top of that, the vast majority of tea offered in bags are not whole leaf tea: it’s the crushed “fanning” left at the end of the process, which often ends up as bottom-of-the-barrel, processed powder.
